My writing tends to go far and wide, covering a wide array of interests. Everything from myth and politics to deep dives into film, comics, manga, and even sport. Whether it be Eiji Tsuburaya or Shotaro Ishinomori and the history of Tokusatsu, or even Jack Kirby and Alan Moore and the realms of the sequential arts, they’re all amongst my obsessions.
I’ve written for major publications and outlets like Vox and Polygon, as well as prestigious Eisner-award winning and critical darlings like the Panel x Panel magazine and The Comics Journal, amongst a whole host of others.
Pop Culture remains eternally fascinating to me, and unpacking it is always a great deal of fun. I’m always looking for a challenge, with a strong desire to push myself and do something new. So if you’ve got something you’d like me to work with you on or write about, do reach out!
